For the first time ever stablecoins primarily USDT and USDC accounted for 40% of all crypto purchases across Latin America, compared to just 18% for Bitcoin.

On March 6, 2025, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14233, formally creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and a broader U.S Digital Asset Stockpile.
